Hobbiton was an amazing experience to see behind the set of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. Some of the girls had seen or were fans of the movies, which was even more special. We saw lots of the land marks and sets for the movies and learnt about the directors experiences and stories about the filming of the movies. After we walked around the grounds we entered the green dragon where we enjoyed a glass of cold ginger beer. When we returned to the reception we went to the gift shop to purchase many things including post cards, posters and even elf ears. The experience of seeing behind the scenes and also learning about the production of the films was absolutely amazing and we hope to do it again some time in the future.
