Balclutha Netball Game

This game was played in a new stadium that contained 4 indoor courts which was really cool. Everyone played extremely well and with this being our last game it was full of twists and turns. We were leading in the first two quarters of the game. After the game the girls made afternoon tea for us. The other teams were really friendly and it was lovely to make some new friendships.

When we arrived it was lovely to meet Grace T family on the sideline for some moral support. The game started with a really strong start. We were up by 6 goals by quarter time however the opposition increased the intensity of the game and came back to within 2 goals. The last two quarters were quiet hard but we continued to stick to our game plan and came through as a team, winning by 6 goals. After the game we had afternoon tea, it was great to meet the other players and find out that they were  coming to the Gold Coast. We are hoping that next time they come over we will be able to have billeting opportunities.
