Queenstown

We woke up and the weather wasn't looking great (it was raining heavily) and we were really worried that we wouldn't be able to luge. While we waited for the weather to pass we decided to go shopping. After making an impact on Glassons $5 rack, a definite highlight, we decided to go to the park for a look at the lakeside. This then created a whole in our stomachs that needed to be filled. So we made a journey back to our community kitchen for a quick lunch as the weather had changed into a beautiful afternoon which meant that we could finally luge. We made it up the mountain while the teachers surprised us with an extra 3 exhilarating luge rides. This made our day!!! The first ride was the scenic route that we all had to do, loving the view of the mountains and water. After this we were allowed to go on the Red Line which meant more speed. After racing down the hill 4 more times we headed indoors for a warm drink as the sun was shining but the wind was cold. After our day up the mountain we headed for home with a quick stop at the famous Ferg Burgers. We can't believe we are heading home in 2 days.
